Inland Empire

Tonight, I saw "Inland Empire." It was pretty fucking amazing. It was no "Mulholland Drive," but it was not a bad stepchild, and it was the most woman-centric Lynch movie I've seen. All the business of whores and women and sex was hyper-beautiful. There's a mindbending blue sex scene, and a gaggle of sexy streeturchins who break into dance, and Laura Dern's great gaping maw that "laughs like the sun and cries us a river." Masuimi Max has a while-the-credits-roll no-dialogue cameo as a girl with a hole in her vagina and a monkey. I highly recommend it.
