So, I worked on my novel, Happy, some more, and now the first 30 pages are done. Like a Brit boy with a biscuit, I quite fancy it. It's coming out pretty well-formed, which is nice, and not a mess. Xerxes is the main character. He took a trip to Barstow. I love the desert. He drank too much. I didn't. The only part of it that's missing something is a poker scene in Vegas where I don't know quite what the cards should be.
I'd like to post an excerpt from it, but I suppose I shouldn't.
We'll see.
