Rumor has it that Robert Downey Jr. is the lead contender to play Hugh M. Hefner in Bret Ratner's biopic of the playboy.
"It's not a 100 percent done deal, but sources say Hefner has signed off on Downey to play him in the movie, with the working title 'Playboy.'"
I don't know about this.
On the one hand, Downey's a pretty slick actor; and, I'm sure he's some kind of pervert. On the other hand, Hef = Downey? I don't know that it's a fit.
For some reason, Guy Pearce comes to mind for me.
I met Hef once, at the Mansion.
He was tiny.
