Love Gov Call Girl To Sit Down With Diane Sawyer

According to sources, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, the now notorious former call girl who's illicit affair with married then New York governor Eliot Spitzer took her to infamy earlier this year, is sitting down with Diane Sawyer for an interview that will appear on ABC's "Primetime Live" this Friday. Why is Dupre talking now? Last week the state of New York declared it wouldn't be pressing charges against Spitzer for his role in the scandal. There's money in it: Dupre will be paid a "consulting fee" and for "archival footage," not to mention whatever book deals or movie rights come from her televised appearance. Plus, we're sure she's been dying to defend herself in a scandal must have embarrassed the hell out of her family. Why should we care? Prostitutes are the new black! "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star has a show about call girls in the works at HBO, and in an exclusive we hear that Showtime is developing a reality show focusing on high-end escorts.
