Little Miss Hood

I uploaded some more photos to Flickr. The first one is LA, Westwood, I believe. The second one is a fetish club outside Amsterdam. The third one is a statue. The fourth one is a guy getting ready for a bukkake. And the fifth one is Hollywood.

Thank you for letting me publish the photo, Greg.

It's beautiful.

Clayton Cubitt Exposed

My friend/photographer Clayton Cubitt is debuting some new work in a group show that opens this week. They're his decay prints, which, he reports, have been "six months in the destroying," and they'll be on view at the swanky Tribeca Grand as part of "This Eclectic Explosion." The opening night reception is this Thursday, the 24th, and starts at 7PM. Siege says: "Plus there’ll be beautiful drunk people and free booze, which means drunken hook-ups in the bathroom, even if you’re ugly."
"The more recent work, the personal and the fashion work," he reveals, "where I'm literally degrading the quality of the image—injuring it, damaging it—is a result of Hurricane Katrina, what it's done with New Orleans, and what it's done with my family. It's that notion of beauty—not in spite of decay, but because of decay. It becomes so horribly beautiful that you can't look away." -- Siege, JPG

American Bukkake Girl

I took this photo on the set of a bukkake movie a long time ago in Porn Valley. The PA had one hand. At a certain point, he would wave me over into the middle. I would stand right behind the director who was shooting. I would look over his shoulder. I guess you could say I wanted to know what the girl was doing. Looking back on it, I think I'd have to say she was somewhere else altogether. Then I shot her.

Photo of the Day: Alejandra Guerrero aka Corporate Vampire

If you're not familiar with the work of Alejandra Guerrero, aka Corporate Vampire, you should be. Her presence on Flickr is an endless stream of titillating peeks into the unusual life she leads as photographer, model, and self-portraitist. "I'm a FETISH/EROTIC/FASHION photographer..." she writes. "Sometimes I'm my best model cause I'm always available... and cause I think selfportraits are a great way to express many things..." The photo you see here stars adult star Kimberly Kane shooting her own self-portrait as a bemohawked "man prop" looks on. Special thanks to Alejandra for allowing me to publish it.

Shit I'm Digging

Lately, I've been into cruising We Heart It. It's a bit like Ffffound, but a little less arty and a little more trendy. I love this shot of Els Pynoo after the show, "I AM NOT A NICE PERSON ANYMORE," and this beautiful B&W collage. Thanks go to Lux for turning me on to it.

Porn Plagiarism, Part Two

Not long ago, writer and blogger Debauchette reported that a porn magazine had taken her writing and repurposed it as girl copy. Now, photographer and blogger Autumn Sonnichsen reports that a woman in Mexico took the contents of her blog, removed the copyright from all her photographs, translated the text of her blog into Spanish, and republished her content as the woman's own.

"The entries have all been altered a bit, to be in letter form to this Claudia, and there are elaborate (untrue) digressions about how she and I met on Rodeo Drive and then went back to her hotel room, how she was my assistant, how I am grateful to her for publishing my work; there is a fake letter from Kitty thanking her for posting Kitty´s photos, there are photos of other girls that she says are of her, there are photos of other girls that she says I have dedicated to her."

Autumn opines: "This is the gray version of the blog raping, I suppose." After she wrote her post, the ripoff blog was removed.

(Re)making Catwoman

Fetish photographer Steve Diet Goedde has a very cool blog post with photos that gives readers a behind the scenes look at the (re)making of a catwoman suit. Currently, the Met is hosting "Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy," featuring superhero couture. The Met wanted to include the Catwoman costume Michelle Pfeiffer wore in "Batman Returns." Originally, the suit was created by latex fashion house Syren. So, the Met requested they put the since dismantled and degraded ensemble back together again for the show. Because Steve works with SM goods purveyors Jt's Stockroom, which owns Syren, he got a sneak peek at the resurrection of Catwoman's second-skin.

Currently, you can see Steve's photographs in the flesh at "LA Nude X," alongside work by Leonard Nimoy, Dennis Hopper, and Greg Gorman.

Also? Latex Tight Whiteys. Now, I know those can't be comfortable.
